My Trial By Erosion Of Words

They had a table with a sign that said, “How Can We Pray For You?”

People went up and wrote down things they wanted them to pray for.

I wanted to write, “Pray for the speedy recovery and return of Sidney Crosby”

I figured that this might be wrong, but then I thought to myself, “is it so wrong to ask people to pray for someone to recover and get back to full health?” The answer is no, it isn’t.

Who’s to judge where my priorities in life are at the moment? Not them.

So now I’m mad that I didn’t ask them to do so.

Then again, their first response would have been, “Who’s Sidney Crosby?”
